Great for Tear-Off Tabs
This tool does exactly what I imagined it would. I've used it to create tear-off tabs for event flyers instead of just relying on creasing the edge still connected to the sheet; makes a huuuuge difference.

I would recommend having a piece of thick cardboard or a cutting mat behind whatever your perforating, lest you perforate something you care about by accident...

I know this is a micro tool, but the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that the tool is a bit hard to control if you're going for a straight line. That being said, I have not tried running it along a straight edge, which could fix that problem.

I just bought the Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat, ruler, mini-rotary cutter and mini-rotary perforator. I have arthritis and the mini tools help making my cards easier and the mini tools cut so perfectly.

Once I tried the mini-perforator, it occurred to me, instead of creasing the folds on my boxes, I would try the perforator on the fold lines. The folded edges are extremely crisp and do not come apart. AND, you can easily make envelopes to-size, from heavy cardstock, for whatever thickness and size to fit your "dimensional" cards...endless uses.

Both cutters can be also be used with drafter's curves to make wonderful decorative edges.

I am thrilled with these products and they make my card making addiction even more pleasurable, ha ha ha.
