Little Birdie Decor Varnish, Glossy or Matte
Add life to your next project with the smooth, uniform protection of our new Décor Varnish! Available in your choice of glossy or matte finishes, these water-based varnishes add vibrancy to colors and even provide some heat resistance to trays, coasters, and other surfaces.
Fast-drying and water based, Décor Varnish can be used on oil paintings, acrylic paintings, MDF, paper mache, glass, metal, terracotta, wooden surfaces – including raw wood – and more. It is suitable for sealing both indoor and outdoor projects like accent tables, porch signs, and other wooden décor pieces. It’s great for finish decoupage, painted, and most raw surfaces.
Décor varnish is bets applied with a flat, soft brush. We advise using multiple thin coats, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next, instead of a single thick coat.
Décor varnish is available in your choice of Glossy or Matte finishes. Each bottle contains 100mL of water-based varnish.

To clean up Décor Varnish, follow these steps:
- Before the varnish dries, remove excess from brushes, rollers, and other tools using a cloth or paper towel.
- Rinse tools immediately with warm water to prevent it from drying and hardening on the tools.
- Apply mild dish soap to the tools, working it into the bristles or surfaces using your fingers or a cleaning brush.
- Rinse thoroughly under warm running water until all traces of varnish and soap are removed.
- Repeat if necessary. For stubborn varnish residue, you can also soak your tools in warm, soapy water for a few minutes before washing again.
- Shake off excess water, use a clean cloth to dry the tools, and reshape bristles if needed. Thoroughly air dry your tools before storing.
