I ordered a ton of these (16? 18?) when this company was having a big sale. I paid half price. Otherwise, I could never have ordered as many as I did. These come with a foil seal across the opening once you remove the lid. The medium inside is less mushy than I would have thought. Mousse is accurate, but this mousse is not light and fluffy; rather, it's sort of a compressed mousse. Like mousse au chocolat that has sat at someone's place at a dinner for too long... But I digress. I did not yet have a spatula that I'd ordered when I first got these mousse jars (pots). So I spread the mousse over a stencil with my fingers. It worked just fine and I washed my hands (again - during COVID it's practically a constant anyway). By a couple of days later, I had the spatula and that also worked fine.
This mousse/paste dried probably relative fast, but unfortunately I can't tell you precisely how long it took b/c I left my stenciled leaves on white paper to dry overnight and came back to it the following day. The color in this image is not the color of this reviewed item, but the color being reviewed looks like it would be dandy for sea / ocean / mermaid cards and to make a cool background for any sort of card at all (thank you / hi / etc.). I recommend you try this product. I've pledged to myself to make a bunch more cards w/ it so that I get in sort of a groove of using it. Too many times, I don't use a new product enough to get "on a kick" and then (esp w/ products like this that do have a shelf life), I return to it many months (like 24 mos) later to find it dehydrated or otherwise ruined. I invested enough in these (even at half off) to make sure I use them.
