Easy change blade. Position the carriage to the midpoint of the track, gently part the ruler's arms and lift the blade carriage from the Advantage V Blade Trimmer/Super Trimmer.

I had a spellbinders trimmer that no longer had replacement blades and the tonic ones fit and work great!
The spare blades are great. The blades last longer than others I have used in the past. The price for 8 blades is fair.
They were advertised as blue - but they're not. They're orange. But the color doesn't matter to me if they are blue, orange or Grey - as long as they fit & work - that's fine. That's why I bought them! I love the trimmer I have - it's actually not a Tonic trimmer - but the Spellbinders trimmer that is whitish & green is exactly identical to the Tonic Studios trimmer and being SB doesn't have the refills, I get them here. Thanks to Tonic, I will never be out for long any more!
Absolutely nothing wrong with the blades. I love this trimmer, and I needed new blades. This is now my “go to” trimmer, and I’ve tried quite a few.
However, the blades are definitely orange, not blue, as was advertised (and pictured).
