Kushgrip – make your hands smile :)
Kushgrip is a non slip, soft touch material that we use on many of our products to increase the comfort for the crafter. The Kushgrip range of scissors have become synonymous with balance, quality and comfort.
Titanium
Titanium has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. We coat the Fine Control Snip scissors with Titanium to increase the hardness of the blade and increase the durability of the cutting edge.
Non Stick
Some of our products are coated with a special non stick coating. This is important whilst cutting adhesive backed materials as the build up of glue on the blades can reduce the ability to cut cleanly. The non stick coating makes the blades very easy to clean (it's the same material used on a non stick frying pan!). Use a damp cloth with some washing up liquid (if required) to simple wipe off any glue on the blades.
Stainless Steel
Not all cutting tools are born equal. The stainless steel grades that we use are vital to the production processes. Good quality steel ensures our blades are sharp and durable. We heat treat our blades and temper them to reduce the brittleness and maintain long term durability. Experience has taught us that this vital process ensures the quality of our blades.
Border System
Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best! The border system allows you to use all your Tonic Punches in a new and exciting way. The Border System enables the crafter to create regularly spaced borders and patterns, quickly and easily. Use the adaptor to switch from medium to mini size punches.
